What Is Technical Wreck Diving?

Technical wreck diving is an advanced and specialized form of diving that involves exploring shipwrecks in challenging and often deep underwater environments, where divers are permitted full penetration with complex line navigation, and depth is limited only by the student’s certification.
Before You Start
Prerequisites
- 75 total dives
- Extended Range Wreck Diving or Cavern Diving certification
- 18 years of age

Duration
5–6 Days
- Theory / equipment setup × 1 day
- Pool sessions × 1-2 days
- Wreck dives × 3 days (min 6 dives)
